WE ARE STILL COVID FREE!!!!
Covid Protocols...
Here are a few examples of how we will be handling coronavirus prevention in our classroom when we open in September. Class sizes will be smaller. We will follow the CDC, the CA Department of Health, the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division and the Monterey County Health Department suggestions and protocol. We will take the children's temperature before entering the classroom. The teachers will wear masks. Occasionally the teachers will remove their masks to give a smile or a reassuring look. And from time to time to give a look that says “I mean business” 🤣All adults who come into the classroom will be required to wear a mask. The children will wear masks. They can bring their own or wear one of ours! We will disinfect and sanitize the entire room (chairs, tables, toys etc.) in between classes and after school. We will teach and have fun with proper hand washing. We will talk to the children about how germs are spread. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer on site. We will provide each student with their own individual play dough (which we will throw away weekly), crayons, glue, scissors, etc. Social distancing will be difficult but we will do our very best. Learning appropriate social skills is a huge part of our day. We are currently looking into how best to help the children social distance and still be social.❤️
